200 Uploads!
Hit a milestone — 200 uploads on my YouTube channel.
It represents three years of showing up: learning new skills, wrestling with gear, fixing mistakes, telling stories, and hearing from people all over the world. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.

Why I Ride
My new film, Why I Ride, is now live.
This one’s close to the bone — part reflection, part meditation, part love letter to the road. It's my 200th Video on YouTube, and a Milestone of determination.
It’s about leaning in, finding quiet, and the way riding still grounds me after all these years.
Hope you’ll take the ride with me.
A Handful of Clams and a Whole Lot of Heart
Rolled into McClellanville this morning on the GS — one of those quiet Lowcountry rides where the air smells like salt, pine, and possibility. It’s the kind of ride that reminds me exactly why I throw a leg over the bike so often.
Near the local seafood shop, I stumbled into a handoff most people never see: Bob, a Vietnam vet and local harvester, passing off fresh clams to Josh from Barrier Island Seafood Company. No big production, no fanfare — just two guys carrying on a tradition that feeds Charleston every single day.

Oysters, Smoke, and Salt Air – Charleston’s Most Authentic Restaurant
There’s a place just past Folly Beach where time slows down and the air smells like oysters and wood smoke.
I’ve been coming to Bowen’s Island since the late ’70s — before GPS, before smartphones — and not much has changed.
In this ride, I go back down that dirt road one more time. MotoVlog style, with a few stories mixed in.
Bring an appetite. And maybe a napkin.

Magdalena Bay - Where the Giants come to breathe.
The first thing that hits you isn’t what you see — it’s what you hear. That deep, forceful exhale. Then silence. Then the inhale. It’s the sound of life itself — the sound of the gray whales returning to Magdalena Bay.

Burned Three Times | The Haunting Story of Biggin Church, South Carolina
🏍️ It’s a perfect day for a ride through South Carolina’s Lowcountry — blue skies, winding roads, and a destination steeped in mystery. Just outside Moncks Corner, hidden among oaks draped in Spanish moss, lie the haunting ruins of Biggin Church — one of the most legendary and reportedly haunted places in the South.
Built in the early 1700s, Biggin Church served as both a religious and civic center for St. John’s Parish. Burned not once, not twice, but three times — during the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and again in the 1880s — it now stands as a ghostly reminder of South Carolina’s turbulent history.
Outer Banks Farewell | Crossing the Pamlico Sound to Cedar Island
⛴️ Sailing Away from Ocracoke Island — Join me on the final leg of my Outer Banks adventure aboard the Cedar Island Ferry, as we head south toward Myrtle Beach. In this episode, I’ll walk you through how to book the North Carolina ferry, what to expect on board, and what it’s really like making this scenic two-and-a-half-hour crossing across Pamlico Sound.
🌊 Ocracoke Island — where the road ends in water.
Remote, raw, and unforgettable, Ocracoke is a place you can only reach by ferry.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s been riding along, watching, and supporting Adventures with Duncan. This journey has been incredible, and it’s only possible because of you. Here’s to the next adventure! 🏍️🌍
🔥 Before the Outer Banks became a tourist hotspot, life here was raw, wild, and fragile. Collington Island still carries those echoes — and I went back to capture them.
Step back in time with me on Collington Island in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina — a hidden gem of the Outer Banks (OBX). In this video, I revisit Collington Harbor, the place where I grew up over 50 years ago. From memories of working at the old fish house to reflections on hurricanes, fishing traditions, and the transformation of the community, this is a journey through both Outer Banks history and personal storytelling.
🌿 The Breathing Heart of the Lowcountry 🌿
Out here near Botany Bay on Edisto Island, the marshes stretch out like living veins across the land. Twice a day, they breathe—exhaling with the outgoing tide, inhaling with the returning sea. These tidal rhythms feed countless species, filter the water, and protect the coastline. They are the true lifeline of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
Premiering Sunday, 9/7/2025, my new YouTube series intro video: Exploring the Outer Banks: A Journey Back to Where I Grew Up
Hello friends and welcome back to Adventures with Duncan. As they say, all good things must come to an end. So I'm at the end of my trip exploring the outer banks of North Carolina. I've really had a great. Time, and I wanted to let you know that I'll be producing probably four episodes focusing on different parts of the outer banks.
🌊 Exploring Ocracoke Island 🏝️
Tucked away in North Carolina’s Outer Banks, Ocracoke is a place where time slows down and the salty breeze carries stories of pirates, shipwrecks, and centuries-old traditions. At the heart of it all is Silver Lake Harbor, the island’s charming gateway, where ferries, fishing boats, and sailboats drift beneath wide Carolina skies.
Galax: Where the Music Never Stops By Duncan Seaman | Adventures with Duncan
🎻 The Heartbeat of Galax. Some places get under your skin — Galax, Virginia is one of them. For one week every August, the Old Fiddlers’ Convention turns this small town into something magical: music spilling from porches, campfires, and street corners until it feels like the whole town is singing the same song.
This isn’t just about fiddles and trophies. It’s about people, roots, and traditions that refuse to fade.
