🌿 The Breathing Heart of the Lowcountry 🌿

Out here near Botany Bay on Edisto Island, the marshes stretch out like living veins across the land. Twice a day, they breathe—exhaling with the outgoing tide, inhaling with the returning sea. These tidal rhythms feed countless species, filter the water, and protect the coastline. They are the true lifeline of the South Carolina Lowcountry.

I captured this panoramic view today, but no single image can capture the full story of this place. For more drone footage and deeper dives into the history and landscapes of the Carolinas, check out my YouTube channel: 👉 https://www.youtube.com/@AdventuresWithDuncan
