Burned Three Times | The Haunting Story of Biggin Church, South Carolina

Premiering Sunday, 10/19/2025:

It’s a perfect day for a ride through South Carolina’s Lowcountry — blue skies, winding roads, and a destination steeped in mystery.

Just outside Moncks Corner, hidden among oaks draped in Spanish moss, lie the haunting ruins of Biggin Church — one of the most legendary and reportedly haunted places in the South.

Built in the early 1700s, Biggin Church served as both a religious and civic center for St. John’s Parish. Burned not once, not twice, but three times — during the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and again in the 1880s — it now stands as a ghostly reminder of South Carolina’s turbulent history.

In this episode, I ride out to explore the church ruins and the surrounding graveyard, share the fascinating history behind its destruction and rebirth, and talk about the eerie ghost stories that still echo through these brick walls. While there, the ghosts gave me a sign!

If you love motorcycle adventures, Southern history, and the haunting beauty of forgotten places, you’ll enjoy this ride through time.
