A New Storytelling Collaboration with The Post and Courier
Over the past several months, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with the editorial and multimedia team at The Post and Courier on a short documentary film exploring one of the Lowcountry’s enduring local stories.
This pilot piece marks a meaningful step in my ongoing evolution as a storyteller — moving from my independent, creator-led YouTube work toward a more restrained, subject-centered documentary form shaped within a newsroom environment. It was both an honor and a learning experience to work alongside journalists and visual storytellers whose mission is rooted in preserving the narratives that define place and community.
I’m especially grateful to Publisher PJ Browning, Managing Editor Sam Hall, and multimedia journalist Campbell Holbin for their vision, guidance, and trust throughout the collaboration.
This first film is intended as the beginning of what we hope may become a series of short regional documentaries exploring the people, histories, and landscapes that shape life in the Lowcountry.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to help bring this story forward and look forward to future collaborations that continue to explore the quiet places and human stories that might otherwise fade with time.
